Note: Prepaid Sessions refer to any prepaid session packages or debit cards purchased in advance for future services. Any reference to “debit cards” elsewhere on the website or during booking is considered the same as prepaid sessions under these Terms of Use.
Services
Backbone Operations provides personalized, one-on-one administrative business support. Services may be delivered virtually (via Zoom or Google Meets) depending on availability and agreement.
Services may include, but are not limited to those listed on the Backbone Operations website under the Services tab.
Services are educational and supportive in nature. Results may vary based on individual needs, experience, and goals.
AI-Enhanced Services
I use AI tools as part of my work to support faster research, stronger systems design, and more competitive pricing. Here’s what that means for you:
- All AI-assisted work is reviewed and approved by me before it reaches you
- Your data and business information remain confidential, as outlined in the Confidentiality section below
- You receive better results, faster turnaround
- You retain full ownership of all final deliverables
Booking & Sessions
- Sessions must be booked in advance through the website or an approved scheduling platform.
- Virtual sessions require a stable internet connection and compatible device
- Clients are responsible for providing access to their devices during sessions
Client Responsibilities / Work Requirements
To ensure sessions are productive and successful, clients agree to:
- Work is performed within the client’s own tools, platforms, and accounts (e.g., CRM, project management software, email systems) rather than Backbone Operations’ internal systems. This ensures that completed work, processes, and data remain fully owned and accessible by the client after the engagement ends.
- Provide access to the devices, software, and/or accounts that will be used during the session
- Have necessary login credentials and permissions ready (e.g., admin access if needed)
- Be present and available during scheduled session times if needed
- Communicate any technical issues or limitations before or during the session
Failure to meet these requirements may limit the effectiveness of the session. Backbone Operations is not responsible for incomplete work or outcomes resulting from the client missing access or information.
Payments, Refunds & Prepaid Sessions
Standard Payments
- Service prices are clearly listed at the time of booking
- Payment is required to reserve a session
- Any applicable cancellation, rescheduling or refund terms are communicated during booking or on the relevant service page
Prepaid Sessions (also referred to as Virtual Debit Cards)
Backbone Operations offers Prepaid Sessions for purchase.
By purchasing Prepaid Sessions, you acknowledge and agree to the following:
- Prepaid Sessions are non-refundable
- Prepaid Sessions expire six (6) months from the date of purchase
- Prepaid Sessions may be used only by the original purchaser unless otherwise agreed in writing
- You may receive email notifications when your Prepaid Session balance reaches 50% remaining, and periodic reminder notifications thereafter
- Unused sessions remaining after the expiration date are forfeited
Confidentiality & Client Information
Backbone Operations respects your privacy and confidentiality.
Any personal or sensitive information you choose to share during services including: login details, passwords, financial information, or business-related materials is treated as strictly confidential and used only for the purpose of providing agreed-upon support.
Backbone Operations will not disclose, share, or sell confidential or proprietary client information, including but not limited to:
- Account or login credentials
- Financial or billing information
- Contact lists or customer data
- Business systems, files, or internal processes
Confidential information will only be disclosed if required by law or with your explicit permission.
Website Use
You agree to use this website for lawful purposes only and not to:
- Interfere with the operation or security of the site
- Attempt unauthorized access to systems or data
- Copy, reproduce, or distribute website content without permission
Intellectual Property
All website content including text, graphics, branding, and materials — is the property of Backbone Operations and may not be used without written permission.
Limitation of Liability
Website content and services are provided “as is.” Backbone Operations is not responsible for damages resulting from the use of this website or services, including technical issues beyond our control.
